Recently I flew a SQ A350 from CAN to SIN and unfortunately there is no live TV. I was very disappointed that there was lack of Live TV and no wifi on the A350. Is there any reason why there is no live tv on all A350s?
I sat in my seat and turned on the screen. I browsed through the screen and noticed that it didn’t have BBC News and CNBC News as well as Sport24 on the A350 I flew.

The BBC is banned in China (not sure about CNBC). As for WiFi, maybe they haven't worked out how to impose the Great Firewall in-flight so they just force airlines to block the Internet completely.
But then, you're not in Chinese airspace for very long, flying south out of CAN...
I noticed that CNN, CNBC websites are banned in China, sadly due to the Great Firewall. In fact most websites (except Bing) are banned in China.
But when the SQ traverses out of Chinese airspace, I assume that the wifi is still switched on. I tried to connect to wifi, but unfortunately they can’t allow me to.

Um what...
Isn't the plethora of IFE on SIA's award winning system enough?

BBC is not 'banned' in China or in Hong Kong. China though restricts most foreign media to some extent including some BBC content.
