• I think those with Qantas FF or Oneworld would still fly Qantas for the Darwin-Sin route, though perhaps grudingly. Not that many hours of flight time anyway, so probably can put up with crappy services in exchange of points and SCs.Singapore airlines is great but personally, I am still concerned...

  • Seems to me demand must have been quite low for Qantas to launch the second DSC this year. Been a while since Qantas has 2 DSC in a year.

  • Not clear to me if short-haul flight will be charged the levy as well? It reads to me that short haul flight will be charged on 3rd and above flights only.Adding 400 euro per flight for every flight after the 8th flight of the year will make cost of travelling extremely high - the price of the ti...

  • Personally, for really short flights (up to 90 mins), meal service is not important - I decline the meals most of the time anyway. (No sarcasm intended)Another factor to consider is where you sit on the plane arriving in HKG. If you are at the back of the plane, deplaning alone ...

14 kg is pretty generous, so yeah, I think it is a reasonable move.My pet peeves is that many passengers decide to put BOTH luggage + small carry on/backpack/etc on overhead locker, instead of putting the second bag underneath the seat in front. Plain selfish I reckon.
