Anyone know why I cant' book a QFF award flight from BNE DXB direct in January 2025? My searches all give me a routing via ADE SYD and MEL. Hoping to fly out on our 25th wedding anniversary the 28th January to NBO and then on to EDI on the 2nd Feb so can't book it online for a couple of days as I am lowly bronze. Of course I will go via the other cities if I have to but find it odd my direct is not available in any class.
Thanks so much in advance

Hi kctoo - Emirates (EK) typically release their Award inventory only 330 days in advance of travel IINM. Given you are looking to travel on the 28th January 2025, you are "jumping the gun" a little bit, so to speak, which is why you're not seeing inventory. Not all airlines release their inventory 365 days out. Hope this helps.

Thanks kimshep, I believed this to be the case. But was confused when I saw availability for the same date for SYD, MEL and ADL. Perhaps Emirates "jumped the gun" with the other cities and just left BNE out. Might cool my heals and see what 330 days out brings...
Thanks again

KCTOO, if you can get the flights via another Australian port then I'd suggest snapping them up. Especially if you get a more time friendly departure. The ex BNE EK reward flights I've seen tend to be on the 1.55am departure.

Very few 1st reward seats from BNE. And only a few at the stupid oclock departure.
