Cathay Pacific rebooked me on China Southern: earning Qantas Points?

So if I am late landing in Hong Kong on a business class ticket from Melbourne and Cathay rebooks me on China Southern for the connecting flight (previously was Dragon) , do I get the Qantas points/credits for this leg?

It probably wont show automatically, however, you can call Qantas and ask for "original routing credit" which they'll happily allocate.
